Chase Anderson is a local historian with ancestral roots in Savannah. He became involved in paranormal investigations about fifteen years ago in a haunted North Georgia mountain town called Dahlonega where gold was first discovered in North America and where he met and established a life long collaboration with acclaimed Georgia writer, Amy Blackmarr. A book emerged -- called DAHLONEGA HAUNTS: GHOSTLY ADVENTURES in a GEORGIA MOUNTAIN TOWN stemming from their investigations of Dahlonega's haunted buildings nestled around the old public square. Returning to live again in Savannah, Anderson re-ignited his old Savannah tour company from 1983 and now leads haunted history and Civil War tours of Savannah, conducts extensive research through an emerging flagship organization called S.H.I.P.S.(Savannah History Institute for Paranormal Studies) and lives on the same block where his great-grandparents lived on Calhoun Square -- a rich resource for Savannah's Haunted History.
